Out of an abundance of caution to the Moving for Melanoma 5K participants and the local community, we are moving to a Virtual 5K for our event in September.
- We are pleased to announce that we will have our 5K as a Virtual Event. This can be a swim, bike, run or walk. Your Place in your Space!

- Run/ Walk, bike or swim a 5k, then enter your time on the Races2Run website and print your certificate. Given that this is not a live event, we will not be distributing T-shirts.
- Invite ALL your family and friends to participate in this event (while practicing social distancing and state guidelines) we are no longer limited to be at a specific location. You can be creative with FUNdraising events such as; BBQs, car washes, corn hole tournaments, wine tasting or paint parties.
As in past events, we value the participation of TEAMS as a way to honor lost loved one and celebrate survivors. Please send us pictures of your team participants in their special team T-shirts.
You will have until September 30th to complete your event!
You can participate from anywhere so out of state family and friends can join in too!
We understand that this change is for the best possible way to keep all of our family and friends safe, and we would love to have you as part of the event.
We continue to follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
