8:30am- Registration opens
9:30am- Race start

Pre-race packet pickup will be on Wednesday, November 23rd from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at Irish Eyes in Lewes

Dress in Thanksgiving attire to be eligible for free gift cards and prizes!

Entry Info

Register by mail – universal entry form (Gabby Gobbler 5k, PO Box 555, Ocean View, DE 19970). Make checks payable to Get Well Gabby Foundation.

Entry fee- $25 pre-registration (until the Monday before the race at Noon) / $30 after and day of event

Guest fee for post race party- $10 (this is for non-registered participants)

“Gabby is our angel that didn’t get a fair chance at life since she was diagnosed at age 5 with a brain cancer. On memorial day she became patient at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. On September 11, 2011 Gabby lost her fight to the tumors in her brain. She will always remembered for her strength, love, spunky spirit and her wonderful personality.”

USATF Certified course by Doug White. Fast, flat & scenic! Starts and finishes at Irish Eyes.

NOTICE: no baby strollers are allowed in the run portion of this event. You may WALK with strollers. No dogs allowed due to insurance liability.

Amenities

-Hot dogs, hamburgers and Beer/Bloody Marys for those 21 years of age and older provided by Irish Eyes. ($10 for non-registered participants)
-Pre-registered runners/walkers will receive a long sleeve unisex t-shirt and a goodie bag with items from our sponsors. Bring some extra money to take a chance on an array of raffle baskets and prizes will be available to win. Let your kids take a chance at our prize wheel, every spin is a winner!

-Prize raffle including baskets of books, toys, restaurant gift certificates, and two fresh baked pies, and more!

-Awards for top male/female
-Awards for top male/female masters
-Awards for top 3 male/female in 10 year age groups 9 & under through 70 & over
-Dress award: Irish eyes cup and happy hour to the best dressed turkey day team
-Largest team award: The Gabby Cup for the team that has the most participants. (Pre-registration only)
-Fundraising award: The Gabby Cup for the team that raises the most money. (Pre-registration only)
-Team scoring award: Fastest team wins a happy hour gift certificate at Irish eyes. 5 person teams scoring top 3 including one female. (Pre-registration only)
