NEW EVENT: Delaware Half
Marathon Race Information
Date: May 17, 2009
Time: 7:15 am Start
This stand-alone half marathon is a companion event to the Delaware
Marathon & 4 Person Delaware Marathon Team Relay. The half marathoners
will begin after the marathoners and run on the same first lap course as
the marathon runners.
Registration for the Delaware Marathon Half Marathon will close at the end
of business on Sunday, May 3, 2009 or earlier if the field is filled.
Please register early. The Race Director reserves the right to cap our
Delaware Marathon fields.
Online registration is handled for us by Active.com. Online registration
will also close at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2009 or earlier if the
respective fields are filled.
Registration Fees:
$45 until April 15th
$65 late registration till May 10th or event is filled

Tubman Garrett Riverfront Park
Intersection of S. Market Street and Rosa Parks Drive (Water Street)
Adjacent to Riverfront Market and the AMTRAK Station,
Awards:
$100 to overall Male and Female finishers. $50 to overall Male Masters and
Female Masters finishers. Awards also given to the top 3 finishers in ten
year age groups from “18 & Under” through “70 & Over”.
