Location: START Line of the Christiana Care Health System Delaware
Marathon on the Wilmington Riverfront
Time: Noon (Pre-event activities begin at 11:00 a.m.)
Course/Distance: ONE Mile on the Riverwalk, crossing our FINISH Line
Cost: The event is free. Event tee shirts are NOT included. If you would
like to purchase an event tee shirt cost is $10.
Amenities: Race number. Special finisher's medal and healthy refreshments.
Also, enjoy our family friendly entertainment and visit our health vendors
on site.

Age Limit: The one mile fun run \ walk is designed for kids 17 and under.
The one mile walk is open to families and kids of all ages.

GYMM: The Get Our Youth Moving Marathon is a 50 day, habit changing
healthy activity curriculum for kids that starts on March 31. Participants
engage in 20 minutes of a wide variety of healthy activities per day,
earning 25 miles towards the completion of their own marathon. They then
finish their 26th mile on Delaware Marathon race weekend on the actual
Delaware Marathon course.
GYMM is ideal for elementary schools, churches, scout troops and other

We supply the curriculum books and provide the motivation and instruction
for your groups to succeed.
Amenities: Run 1,4 Fun tee shirt, special children’s finisher medal, GYMM
Curriculum booklet, and healthy refreshments. Also, enjoy our family

Cost for Adults : $10 pre-registration $15 day of event
