& Vascular Health at Christiana Care provides the multidisciplinary
capability for the prevention, treatment and
improved understanding through research and education of
cardiovascular diseases on behalf of all people in this community.
The new Bank of America Pavilion and John H. Ammon Medical Education
Center integrates heart and vascular services under one roof. This
impressive facility places Christiana Care in the vanguard of
teaching hospitals committed to providing the best, latest practices
in the care and treatment of heart and vascular disease.

Team in Training (TNT) is the world's
largest sports endurance sports training program. The program
provides training to run or walk a whole or half marathon or
participate in a triathlon or century (100 mile) bike ride.
Participants raise funds for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma
research and patient services in exchange for training, support,
lodging, and airfare to the event of their choice. Since TNT's
inception, 265,000 participants have raised nearly $600 million.
With Team in Training anyone can cross both "finish lines," the
event's endurance goal and he fundraising goals.

Rotary
International is the world’s first service club; a global network of
over 1.2 million business and professional leaders volunteering in
over 32,000 clubs in 168 countries. The Caesar Rodney Rotary
Club in Wilmington Delaware supports Kids with Confidence
a medical program that provides surgeries for needy children with
facial or other physical abnormalities such as severely protruding
ears, facial scars, missing ears, etc. Insurance companies view
these abnormalities as cosmetic and will seldom pay for them. Kids
With Confidence is overseen and managed by a volunteer Advisory
Board made up of physicians from the Alfred I. du Pont Children’s
Hospital and business members of the community. All funds are
housed in a Donor Designated Fund at the Delaware Community
Foundation and every contributed dollar goes to cover the needy
