Hospitality
For 2008, our runners
will enjoy a post-race celebration, with live music, in our seated
hospitality garden. The post race meal will include Grotto Pizza, Subway
“Eat Fresh” sandwiches, Pretzel Boys Soft Pretzels, Del Monte Fresh
Bananas, Herr’s Snacks, Pine Mountain Springs Water, Canada Dry Soft
Drinks, Hy-Point Dairy Farm Ice Cream Sandwiches, Hy-Point Dairy Farm
fruit drinks, plus Michelob Ultra beer.
For our spectators, volunteers, and non-runners, 2 Fat Guys American Grill
will be on hand to sell food and drinks to the public. 2 Fat Guys will
sell coffee and breakfast items in the morning and sandwiches, wraps, and
cold drinks for that mid-morning snack or early lunch. Please visit their
restaurant located north of Wilmington on Route 41 at the PA line in
Hockessin, DE. 302-235-0333. They also do catering!
The hospitality seating areas will be open to the public, however, the
runners refreshment area under the tent will be reserved for the
participants. Runners, you will need to show your runner number to gain
entry. Please note that the back of the pack runners want refreshments
too, so we ask that you please be courteous and only go through the
hospitality line once.
Note Grotto Pizza and Michelob Ultra will also be on sale to the public.
Runners and spectators should also note that there are numerous
restaurants at the Shipyard Shops, along the RiverWalk, and at the
Riverfront Market. These venues all offer wonderful vantage points for
watching the race.
