Inaugural HEROES FOR ANIMALS 5k

Our mission is to provide assistance for abandoned,stray and surrendered animals to minimize needless euthanasia.
Race Time
8:00am- Registration opens for participants & vendors
9:30am- Race start for runners
9:30am- Walkers/animals start walk
All animals with walkers must be kept on a leash
Entry Info
Register online – click here (All weekend races close online registration the Thursday before the race at noon.)
Register by mail – universal entry form (Heroes for Animals 5k P.O Box 268 Hockessin, DE 19707). Make checks payable to Heroes For Animals Assoc. Mailed entry must be received no later than Wednesday, June 15th.
Entry fee
$25 pre-registration (until the Thursday before the race at noon) / $30 after and day of event
Students 18 & under- $20 pre-registration (until the Thursday before the race at noon) / $25 after and day of event
Family of 3 or more: $65

Starts and finishes at the HAC using the paved trails into residential neighborhood and back

Timing
NOVA Timing Systems will chip time using the MyLaps BibTag chip timing system
