The Pearls of
Hope
Foundation,
Inc. invites
you to join us
for the fourth
Pearls of
Hope Memorial
5K Run/Walk.
This year we
are
celebrating
the life of
Mrs. Regena J.
Manley. A
native of
Jonestown,
Maryland, she
lived most of
her adult life
in Wilmington,
Delaware.
Regena
was employed
by the Family
Court of
Delaware for
twenty-five
years before
retiring in
1991. She
held the
positions of
Supervisor of
Social
Workers,
Program
Development
Administrator,
and received a
special
appointment as
Master/Commissioner.
Her
organizational
and creative
skills are
reflected in
many ways
throughout the
community.
She died in
2009 after a
long battle
with
pancreatic
cancer.
It is
Pearls of
Hope’s desire
to keep her
memory alive
by providing
scholarships
in her name to
deserving
local high
school
seniors.
