Benefits:       Ulster Project Delaware (UPD) is the oldest, continuously running Ulster Project in the United States. 
                              Founded in 1976  UPD will begin its 35th year in the summer of 2010.  Since its inception UPD has
                      brought over 674 Catholic and Protestant teens and 129 adult leaders from the towns of 
                      Coleraine, Bainbridge Portadow in Northern Ireland to the Wilmington area for a month-long series that promote
                             enduring friendships and mutual understanding.  While here, the teens and adult leaders live with host
                             families with teens of a similar age, between 14 and 16 years old.  This year, 18 teens and 4 adult
                             leaders will arrive from Portadown to stay with host families in our area during the month of July. 
                            This project is overseen  by Delaware Pacem in Terris, a nonprofit interfaith organization
                            dedicated to promoting peace with justice, through education and action at home and abroad. 
Course:        USATF certified course starting at Trolley Square continuing around Brandywine Park and finishing back near  
                             Trolley Square measured by Chip Bixler.                                   Course map
Amenities:     t-shirts and post race party back at Catherine Rooney's.                                                          
Awards:         Overall male and female plus top 2 in five year age groups 13 under through 70+                
                              Top 3 male and female walkers.
