NOTICE:  NO BABY STROLLERS ARE ALLOWED IN THE RUN PORTION OF THIS EVENT.
YOU MAY WALK WITH STROLLERS. 

 


Race Time:    11 am start! (registration opens at 9:45 am)                                                                                                    
 Location:        Union Tavern (formally Bank  Shots) at 1010 N. Union Street, Wilmington, DE       Directions     
Benefits:        The Wellness Community in honor of our friend Steve Lewis who passed away from  pancreatic cancer. 
Course:          Starts near Union Tavern and continues to Rockford Park with finish on Union Street.    Course map
 Amenities:     Long sleeve tee shirts to all registered participants, great post race party with pizza, beer, music.
                                                                    "Get ready for some football."

Silent Auction:  We are working with area restaurants and business to be able to offer you the chance to purchase dinners and gift certificates.  100 % of these proceeds will go to the Wellness Community.  If you have something you would like to donate in Steve's honor please contact us.

Awards:       Bobble head awards are back for 2009!  These awards are awesome!
                          Winner of Runners World Best $chwag award!   (perks and prizes worth bonking for).          
                         Overall male and female winners plus top 2 in 5 year age groups 13 under through 70 over.

Race Time:     9:00 am  (registration opens at 7:45 am)                                                                                                  
Location:        Central Branch YMCA, 11th & Washington Streets, Wilmington, DE.              Directions                
Benefits :       Central Branch YMCA and in memory of Mike Clark.
 Sponsors:       Progressive Software Computing, Inc.,  Enterprise Flasher, Pine Mt. Water Co. and Central YMCA.  Course:          USATF certified.  Starts and finishes at Central Y.    Google course map.     Water at 4 1\4 mile mark and
                              7 1\4 mile mark.  Water and gatorade at registration and finish.  Course Cert. # DE97001GAN            Amenities:     Long sleeve tee shirts to first 400 registered plus  post race refreshments including pizza.   
                             The Washington Street Ale House will provide a free beer to all runners who stop by
                             after the race wearing a race number.   Great place to watch football.
                             Located right behind the Central Y on Washington Street.   
Awards:        Overall male and female winners plus top 3 in 5 year age groups 18 under through 70 over. Course records
                            NO WALKERS ALLOWED for your own safety.  2:20 minute time limit.
