To raise awareness of ovarian cancer. To raise funds for education and awareness throughout the year. Course: USTAF certified. NOTE: You may pick up your race packet at the Iron Hill Brewery and drive to start finish area at the Christiana Towers. This years route will start outside the Commons area of Christiana Towers and finish on Creek Road. Post race party and refreshments are back at the IHB. Race Time: 9 am (registration opens at 8 am) Mother's Day Weekend. Location: Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, on Main Street in Newark, DE Directions Benefits: Child, Inc. "Run \ walk against domestic violence and support Child Inc.'s programs to help victims." Course: New route starting on bridge at Ray Street in Newark running around Christiana Towers and back to the bridge. Continue to Creek Road to turn around with finish at bottom of hill on Creek Road. Course measured by Doug White. Route changed due to road construction. New route USATF certified. Google course map Amenities: t-shirts to the first 300 registered runners and walkers. Post race party at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant featuring food and hand-crafted brews. Mary suffered a spinal cord injury in January of 2002. All proceeds from this event will be used to help the Husty family deal with the extraordinary financial challenges associated with spinal cord injuries.
